Frequently Asked Questions

What makes ChiroPro Performance Center different and is it the right choice for me? When you are suffering from a physical or neurological condition, it can be difficult just to navigate normal day-to-day activities. We understand these unique challenges and we are here to help. The comprehensive examinations and personalized treatments we offer at ChiroPro work to identify and heal the root cause of the patient’s complaint through our advanced approach. Our techniques are based on the practice of functional neurology. Functional neurology is a specialty that builds on clinical neuroscience and uses advanced procedures and therapies to help improve or re-establish optimal neurological processes. This approach provides carefully determined, cautious, and safe care that aims to improve neurological function. These interventions include various sources of input through visual, physical, and other neurological pathways. We take pride in our ability to offer innovative, science-based approaches in an attempt to address what, for many, are profound limitations in their function and quality of life.

What is a Chiropractic Neurologist? A Chiropractic Neurologist is a Doctor of Chiropractic or the equivalent that has taken 300 post-doctoral hours of coursework in functional neurology and passed the rigorous written and performance exams required for certification by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. These doctors are referred to as Diplomates of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). DACNB’s use the patients’ body and environment to assess, diagnose, and localize areas of dysfunction. The human body systems are constantly affecting the neurological system and being effected by the neurological system. The human neurological system is constantly affecting and being affected by the body’s other systems, such as the musculoskeletal system. What is the first step? Give us a call at (978) 429-8952 so that we can learn more about your case and schedule an evaluation. If you’re unsure if you would be a good candidate for care, our Patient Coordinator may schedule a complimentary phone call with one of the doctors first.

What if I live far away? Many of our patients come from a distance to be treated. Treatment programs are often offered in an intensive model, meaning therapy sessions and reexaminations are completed over the course of 1 to 2 weeks. During this time, patients opt to stay in the many local hotels and inns or get an Airbnb.

Do I need a referral? Although many of our patients are referred to us by other healthcare providers, you don’t need a referral to see us.

Do you accept my insurance? ChiroPro Performance Center is a specialty care clinic and is not affiliated with any insurance provider. In our treatment model, you pay at the time of service and there are no surprise bills. Using this model allows us to deliver care that’s catered to your specific needs rather than what is dictated by an insurance company. We will provide you with the necessary billing codes and receipts so that you may submit directly to your insurance provider for consideration of reimbursement. Most insurance plans, with the exception of Medicare, Medicaid, and some HMO’s, provide reimbursement for services received out-of-network.

We accept payment in the form of cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and HSA or FSA accounts.

Where are you located? ChiroPro has offices located in Dedham and Acton, MA. The Dedham office is located in the Dedham Health and Athletic Complex. The Acton office is located in the Teamworks Acton professional suites. There is free, ample parking at both locations.
